CEU’s and OPI Renewal Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
You will receive CEUs for all professional and continuing education (PCE) courses you take and pass. CEU’s will show on your continuing education transcript from MSU-GF. One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is equal to ten contact hours of participation in a PCE class. For example, you will be given .6 CEUs for a course lasting 6 hours. You can request your continuing education transcript from the Registrar’s Office.

A written request, with signature, must be received by Admissions & Records for processing of an Official Transcript. Acceptable requests are hand-written mailed or faxed requests and requests submitted on the College's Official Transcript Request Form.

Office of Public Instruction (OPI) Renewal Units
MSU-GF is a recognized provider of Montana OPI Renewal Units. One OPI Renewal Unit will be given for every one hour of class. If you wish to receive OPI Renewal Units for the PCE courses you take, you can contact the Division of Outreach and Workforce Development in Bozeman.
